Infinix Smart 5 budget phone has been launched in Nigeria as a successor to the Smart 4 Plus. The handset has been quietly listed on the company’s website. The Infinix Smart 5 has a gradient design at the back with a physical fingerprint sensor for security and a square camera module with triple cameras. This is an Android Go smartphone with a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie snapper and slim bezels. Infinix Smart 5 price

The Infinix Nigeria official website doesn’t reveal the price of the Infinix Smart 5 yet. The website mentions the device is available in 2GB/32GB configuration. As an Android Go phone, we expect the device to be priced well under Rs 10,000 in India if it does launch in the country.

Infinix Smart 5 specifications

Infinix Smart 5 sports a large 6.6-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera. It is powered by an octa-core processor, but the SoC details aren’t revealed. The entry-level phone runs Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with standard 10W charging support. It packs 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. As for the optics, the Infinix Smart 5 has a 13MP primary camera and a couple of 2MP sensors. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
